I love flowers, whether they’re in the garden, in a photograph, in a painting or in my latest reclaimed vintage jewelry creation.  Nowhere is that more obvious than in my Citrus Blossoms vintage enamel flower statement necklace.  She is alive with a full range of citrus colors that include lime, lemon, grapefruit, orange, tangerine and clementine -- all in bloom and ready to wake up your day whenever you look upon her!  I’ve included a total of 11 vintage enamel flowers in this creation, including seven vintage brooches (6 with enamel flowers and 1 with plastic flower and enamel leaves) and four enamel flower earrings.  I deconstructed them all by removing their backs and filing them smooth.  I then hand-wired each piece to a solid brass bib and covered everything with a hand sewn padded cotton cover that ensures a comfortable fit. No glue was used in the assemblage of this necklace so it is super sturdy as well as beautiful!   The chain is hand-made from beads harvested from any number of vintage necklaces, silver plated bead caps and silver plated spacers.  It is finished with a hand made hook and my sterling silver signature charm.  The flower bib  measures 6 x 5 inches (at its widest)  and the chain is fully adjustable from 18 to 22 inches.

The components of this beauty range from fifty to seventy years old; they are in very good condition for their age but a few minor chips, scratches, fading or other surface blemishes may exist. Like their human counterparts, these minor flaws and variations makes them, in my opinion, all the more beautiful.
