“Hello Young Lovers wherever you are . . . .”  immediately came to mind when I looked at the couple depicted on the vintage cameo brooch I’ve included in my latest design.  I couldn’t be more pleased with the way this came out and it’s even prettier in person!  Young Lovers is a statement necklace featuring a vintage painted cameo brooch surrounded by large pink rhinestones and she will turn heads wherever she goes.  I’ve attached the brooch to a hand wired strand that features large pink faceted crystals, large nuggets of polished fluorite in green and pink, small squares of green glass, gold-flecked pink lentil-shaped art glass beads, and pale pink flat teardrops (the latter having been reclaimed from a pair of vintage earrings).  I also hand-wired a combination of the pink teardrops and the green glass squares as dangles at the bottom of the brooch for added pizzazz!  So feminine!  So romantic!  And so unusual!   I’ve left the pinback intact on the brooch but am happy to remove it upon request after purchase.

The vintage brooch measures 2 by 2.5 inches and the teardrops add an additional 1.25 inches.  The inner circumference of the necklace is fully adjustable up to 22 inches in length so it can be worn closer to the neckline and against the skin or with a fuller drape over a shirt for two different looks.  It includes my sterling silver signature charm with my guarantee that this is a one of a kind original creation.

The components of this beauty range from fifty to seventy years old; they are in very good condition for their age but a few minor chips, scratches, fading or other surface blemishes may exist. Like their human counterparts, these minor flaws and variations makes them, in my opinion, all the more beautiful.
