These pierced darlings are reclaimed from a pair of vintage clip dangles from which I harvested the pearls and long rod-shaped links from a vintage necklace.  The genuine 8 mm pearls are slightly different in color but they were  harvested as a set and I decided that after having been together this long that they should remain together in their new lives.  The pearls are topped with ornate silver caps, connected to the slender silver rods and attached to new silver plated ear wires.  They measure 1 inch in length, excluding the ear wire.  Grace would be absolutely stunning wedding earrings for the bride but they are such a classic style that they’ll be worn again and again, long after the wedding is over.   Recycling trash into treasure, the result of my efforts is pure glamour.  As lightweight and comfortable as they are beautiful, they are my original and one of a kind design.
